Nirvana Rambachan-Naidoo commenced practice as an Attorney at the end of 1998. During this period she gained experience in the following areas of law:

Administration of Estates
Administrative Law
Commercial Law
Criminal Law

Matrimonial and Family Law
Personal Injury

in 2000 she was appointed as a Legal Advisor and Mediator at the Automobile of South Africa. Thereafter, she was appointed as a Senior Legal Advisor at the South African Police Service’s Provincial Head Office in 2001. She maintained the position until her promotion in 2003 to that of Section Head: Legal Support: Resources, Gauteng at the level of Brigadier. She managed a team of 10 legal advisors who represented SAPS in Labour Law, Discipline Management, Human Resource Management, Financial Services and Supply Chain Management tot he Gauteng Provincial management and Provincial employees. She was also a negotiator for SAPS Management at the Safety and Security Sectoral Bargaining Council.

she simultaneously completed her masters in Labour Law at the Rand Afrikaanse University and graduated in 2004. Her dissertation was “Workplace Privacy: A Labour Law Enquiry”.

She also completed her Practical Project Management Certificate at Unisa: School of Business Leadership and Was awarded the Certificate in 2014. She maintained her position in SAPS until December 2016. She was subsequently admitted as an advocated in March 2017 and became a full member of the Johannesburg Bar and Society of Advocates in the same year.

She currently practices as an Advocate holding chambers at Group21 in Sandown Village
