Brief curriculum vitae:
Prior to his call to the bar in 2024, Michael practiced as an attorney from 2017 to 2020 (including articles of clerkship). He then served as head of legal at a reputable group of companies in the commercial property industry from late 2020 until early 2024.
Michael has a general commercial litigation practice, focusing on contractual disputes, property-related disputes, company law disputes, insolvency, and unlawful competition.
Academic Qualifications:
B. Iuris Financial Planning Law (UFS); LLB (WITS) (cum laude); Certificate in Corporate Law (UNISA) (cum laude); Certificate in Advanced Taxation (the Tax Institute); Programme in Advanced Insolvency Litigation and Administration (UP) (cum laude).
