Brief curriculum vitae:
Morvesha obtained an LL.B degree from the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal in 2003 whereafter she commenced articles of clerkship with the boutique law firm Savage, Jooste & Adams at its Hyde Park branch in Johannesburg.
She was admitted as an Attorney of the High Court in 2006 and practised as a senior attorney at two other law firms where she gained invaluable experience in both Magistrate and High Court litigation. Her clients included Alexander Forbes, Industrial Development Corporation, Toyota Financial Services, Wesbank and the National Empowerment Fund.
Morvesha was thereafter employed as a Legal Advisor at Sasol (Secunda) where she was exposed to and gained significant experience in high-level company, commercial and contract law as well as corporate governance and compliance.
In 2015 she opened her own law firm specialising in commercial and contract law, debt recovery, labour law, civil litigation, criminal law, personal injury claims and general litigation.
Morvesha joined the Bar in 2020 and has a general litigation practice. Her areas of practice and interest include general commercial and civil litigation, contract law, personal injury claims, medical malpractice law, criminal law, matrimonial and family law.
