Brief curriculum vitae:

Muhammed Coovadia was called to the Bar in 2021 and he has a general litigation practice. However, he specialises in contractual disputes, as well as, various aspects of corporate law.
Coovadia holds an LLB degree from the University of Johannesburg, which he obtained in 2017. As well as, an LLM in commercial law degree from the University
of Johannesburg, which he obtained in 2019. Where he was awarded with the highest mark achieved in the LLM subject of interpretation of contracts.
Coovadia underwent articles at a Johannesburg based boutique law firm which specialised in personal injury law and he has gained invaluable experience in civil litigation and motion court work. He simultaneously underwent Practical Legal Training at the School for Legal Practice, where he successfully completed the course.
Prior to entering into the legal profession, Coovadia was employed for a period of more than 5 years in a middle-management position in the property investment and management sector.
