Nicholas Zwane was admitted as an Advocate 28 October 2016. He enrolled and successfully completed pupillage in 2024. He joined the Johannesburg Society of Advocates on 2 December 2024.
Before pupillage and joining the bar, Nicholas Zwane worked for the Road Accident Fund as a Claims Officer/Handler where he assessed personal injury claims and made offers.
He was subsequently promoted to a Senior Claims Officer position where he oversaw a group of claims officers/handlers. He was also responsible for approving assessments / offers made by claims officers/handlers.
Nicholas Zwane also worked as a Corporate Initiator/Prosecutor in the Employee Relations Department at the Road Accident Fund.
He was responsible for prosecuting/initiating disciplinary matters on behalf of the Employer. He also represented the employer at the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration.
Nicholas Zwane’s areas of practice and interest include Labour Law, Commercial Law, Third Party Claims/Personal Injury Law, Banking and Finance Law and General Litigation.
