Nirvana Rambachan-Naidoo commenced practice as an Attorney at the end of 1998. During this period she gained experience in the following areas of law:
Administration of Estates
Drafting of contracts
Matrimonial and Family Law
In 2000 she was appointed as a Legal Advisor and Mediator at the Automobile Association of South Africa. She was then appointed as a Senior Legal Advisor at the South African Police Service’s Provincial Head Office in 2001.
She was promoted in 2003 to Section Head: Legal Support: Resources, Gauteng at the level of Brigadier. She managed a team of 10 legal advisors who represented SAPS in Labour Law, Discipline Management, Human Resource Management, Financial Services and Supply Chain Management on a Provincial level. She was also a negotiator for SAPS Management at the Safety and Security Sectoral Bargaining Council.
She was subsequently admitted as an advocated in March 2017 and became a full member of the Johannesburg Bar and Society of Advocates in the same year.
She currently practices as an Advocate holding chambers at Group 21 in Sandown Village.
