Brief curriculum vitae:

Prior to joining the Bar, Ziyaadh completed his LLB degree at the University of the Free State in 2019. In 2020, he began his articles of clerkship in KwaZulu-Natal but had to commence afresh due to the impact of COVID-19.

Ziyaadh then moved to Johannesburg to complete his articles at a reputable firm, and was admitted as an Attorney in November 2023.

Throughout his experience, Ziyaadh has gained experience in Labour and Employment law, Arbitrations, Intellectual Property (specifically anti-counterfeiting), family and matrimonial law, and general litigation, including large-scale civil litigation.

After his admission as an attorney, Ziyaadh began pupillage at the KwaZulu-Natal Society of Advocates, Pietermaritzburg in 2024, whereafter he made the decision to return to Johannesburg after being accepted for membership with the Johannesburg Society of Advocates.

Ziyaadh’s conversion from Attorney to Advocate was completed on 6 March 2025 whereafter he joined Advocates Group 21 on 14 April 2025.
